About the Project: 

My name is Kate Liebl, and I made this booklet as a piece of my Girl Scout Gold Award. I created it because I felt there was not enough representation and resources for children to learn about disabilities. I chose to focus on physical disabilities because I had the most experience with them. I have had an invisible disability for the past three years, which is a disability that people don't see at first glance. With this project, I set out to inform about different types of disabilities and how they can affect people differently.
